Bio

Allison is a green building consultant with Paladino and Company, an internationally recognized green building consulting firm. She provides technical design support to development teams in prioritizing, selecting and implementing green building strategies. With over 10 years experience in architecture, project management, and sustainable community design, Allison has a background working with a variety of public and private organizations and project types, including university buildings, multi-family housing, medical and commercial offices and public facilities. She specializes in conducting technical analysis in the areas of site, water efficiency, indoor environmental quality, and material resource conservation.

In addition to providing design and project management services, Allison also serves on Paladino’s technical consulting team to the U.S. Green Building Council, conducting LEED Application reviews for a variety of project types and sizes.

Allison has been involved in sustainable design education, advocacy and legislation through her roles on numerous volunteer committees. She is the current chair of the AIA Washington Council Sustainable Design Resource Group (SDRG) and a founding member of the Sustainable Design Advocacy Committee which was instrumental in the State of Washington’s adoption of the LEED Silver standard for publicly funded buildings. She is also a past co-chair of the AIA Seattle Committee on the Environment, helping to develop and then co-chairing that committee’s “What Makes it Green” annual event.
