In August, Paladino and Company established the Global Green Ambassador Program™, a philanthropic effort developed to further the company’s mission to create a more sustainable future through contributions of time, financial resources and training to local and international organizations and communities with green aspirations. - Paladino is committed to working with vendors who are philosophically aligned with the company. For example:
- Paladino is an account holder at ShoreBank Pacific in support of their commitment to environmentally sustainable community development, and negotiated incentives on behalf of its employees to open personal accounts.
- ZipCar is the official “company car” of Paladino—the firm uses the car-share service for local business-related transportation, and pays for employees’ personal membership dues as well.
Speaking Engagements
- Tom Paladino will be at West Coast Green on Friday, October 2. He’ll lead a talk in the morning entitled Implementing the Triple Top Line: Exponential Greening for Maximum Building Performance. Later that afternoon, he will join Gordon Starr’s Summit on Defining Business Opportunities in The New Economy
- Tom Paladino and Joyce Ferris of Blue Hill Partners will present a session at the Sustainable Building Series: Retrofits conference titled An End to End Approach to Portfolio Performance Improvement. The conference takes place October 20-22, 2009

- Join us at Greenbuild for our 15th anniversary celebration at our friends and family bash and our annual LEED reviewers party on November 12
- Tom Paladino and Andrew Lee will host a panel discussion on Thursday, November 12 entitled Sustainable Valuation – When Going Green Makes Cents
Client News
- Columbia Credit Union achieved two Gold ratings for branches in Clark County, WA
- ShoWare Center in Kent, WA is the first sports arena in North America to receive a LEED Gold rating
- The Pedra Branca development in Florianópolis, Brazil, was selected as one of 16 founding projects of the Climate Positive Development Program, a Clinton Climate Initiative
- PNC Financial Services Group participated in the G20 Summit in Pittsburgh, PA in September, hosting a green building panel and tour with Tom Paladino
- PNC recently completed installation of North America’s largest green wall on an exterior wall of Three PNC Plaza, their Pittsburgh headquarters. The wall is 2,380 sf and is composed of regional plants that are estimated to require only 15 minutes of watering each week
